Bill Text: MAKING THE INCREASED PARKING METER AND RESERVED SPACE FEES OF ORDINANCE 02-62 EFFECTIVE ONLY UPON COMPLETION OF SPECIFIED DOWNTOWN PARKING IMPROVEMENTS
CITY OF NASHUA In the Year Two Thousand and Two The City of Nashua ordains that Chapter 13 “Motor Vehicles and Traffic”, Article V “Parking and Stopping”, Division 3 “Parking Meters”, Section 13-247 “Parking meter and reserved space fees”, of the Nashua Revised Ordinances be further amended by adding the following subparagraph: “(f) The increased parking meter and reserved space fees enacted by Ordinance 02-62 shall take effect as follows: (1) The increased fees for metered parking outside of the garages shall take effect when the parking meters have been replaced and when the mayor certifies to the board of aldermen in writing that such work has been completed. (2) The increased hourly fees for parking in the garages shall take effect after the increases in (1) above have been completed, and when the parking meters have been installed and when the mayor certifies to the board of aldermen in writing that such work has been completed. (3) The increased fees for leased parking spaces shall not take effect until the increases in (1) and (2) above have been completed.
