Bill Text: CREATING A NO PARKING ZONE ON A PORTION OF THE SOUTH SIDE OF WHITNEY STREET NEAR ITS INTERSECTION WITH RIDGE STREET
In the Year Two Thousand and Three The City of Nashua ordains that Chapter 13 “Motor Vehicles and Traffic”, Article V “Parking and Stopping” of the Nashua Revised Ordinances, as amended, be hereby further amended as follows: 1. In Division 2 “Parking Time Limits In Non-Parking-Lot Areas”, Section 13-220 “Two-Hour Parking”, subsection (d), delete the struck-through language and add the new underlined language as follows: “Whitney Street, both north sides, from Chandler Street to Tolles Street South side, from Tolles Street to Ridge Street South side, from Chandler Street west to thirty-five (35) feet east of Ridge Street” 2. In Division 4 “No Parking, Standing, Stopping in Specified Areas”, Section 13-288 “No parking on certain streets”, subsection (a), under the heading “Whitney Street”, add the new underlined paragraph as follows: “South side, from Ridge Street for a distance of thirty-five (35) feet east” All ordinances or parts of ordinances inconsistent herewith are hereby repealed. This ordinance shall become effective at the time of removal or installation of the necessary signs.
