| Bill Text: | REINSTATING THE NO PARKING ZONE ON THE WEST SIDE OF SPRUCE STREET BETWEEN TEMPLE STREET AND WORCESTER STREET AND MOVING THE HANDICAPPED PARKING SPOT TO THE OTHER SIDE OF THE STREET In the Year Two Thousand and Two The City of Nashua ordains that Chapter 13 “Motor Vehicles and Traffic”, Article V “Parking and Stopping”, Division 4 “No Parking, Standing, Stopping in Specified Areas”, of the Nashua Revised Ordinances, as amended, be further amended by: 1. In Section 13-287 “No parking or stopping on certain streets”, subsection (a), add the language in underlined italics and delete the struck-through language as shown: “Spruce Street, west side, from WorcesterTemple Street southerly to Railroad right-of-way” 2. In Section 13-290, “Handicapped parking”, subsection (1), add the language in underlined italics and delete the struck-through language as shown: “Spruce Street: One (1) parking space in front of 5 Spruce Street on the west side of the street on the east side of Spruce Street three hundred and twenty feet (320’) south of its intersection with Temple Street, for a distance of twenty feet (20’) southerly.” All ordinances or parts of ordinances inconsistent herewith are hereby repealed. This ordinance shall become effective at the time of removal or installation of the necessary signs. |
