Paratransit and Senior Services

Just give us a call, and we’ll pick you up at your door.

If you’re 65 years old or older, or qualify as disabled under the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), you can make a reservation with Nashua Transit System’s City Lift bus service to be picked up and dropped off anywhere within ¾ of a mile of one of our Citybus fixed-route bus stops.

If necessary, the driver will assist you from your door to the door of your destination. All City Lift vehicles are equipped with lifts that accommodate wheelchairs and other mobility devices.

Limited City Lift service is also available for Merrimack and Hudson residents.  Service is also available in Amherst, Brookline, Hollis, Mont Vernon, Wilton, and Milford... click here to learn more about Souhegan Valley Rides.

To register for City Lift services, click on the appropriate button below to download an application form and call to schedule your in-person review.  If you qualify, we will send you a brochure explaining the service in greater detail.

  • Senior services are available Monday through Friday, 9:30 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.
  • ADA services are available Monday through Friday, 6:15 a.m. – 6:30 p.m. and Saturday, 9:00 a.m. – 5:30 p.m.

Milo's Quick Tip

Milo the Meerkat is sorry to tell you that no pets are allowed on City Lift vehicles (except him, of course!) – but service animals are always welcome!
