Office of the Mayor

Hello and welcome to my web page!

I’m Donnalee Lozeau and I’m proud to serve as mayor of our state’s second largest city not just for all of the great things that Nashua has to offer, but also because I’m born and raised here.

Our city is a great place to live and raise a family but it also offers tremendous job opportunities. No wonder Money Magazine named Nashua "The Best Place to Live in America" twice and in 2008, Business Week honored our city as a "Best Place to Raise Children". You can be sure that from City Hall to our schools and Main Street, we are working diligently to maintain the quality of life that helps us earn these honors.

To me, cities are truly remarkable places. They welcome and they inspire. They help define who we are as citizens and say a lot about the state we live in too. Cities are places where bright lights shine on culture and diversity, as well as entertainment and higher education.

I think architect Hugh Jacobsen probably put it best: "When you look at a city, it’s like reading the hopes, aspirations and pride of everyone who built it."

So in that sense, I think it’s fair to say that everyone who works hard to make Nashua such a great place to live and work holds the keys to our city. And that’s been true for countless generations here in the "Gate City".

I want to personally invite you to come and experience all that Nashua has to offer. If you have any questions, or if I can be of any assistance, please contact my office in City Hall at (603) 589-3260.

Cordially,
Donnalee Lozeau
Mayor
