Sign & Pavement Markings


The sign and pavement marking staff in the Traffic Department refurbish existing signs and install signs corresponding to newly passed legislation.  All installed signs meet the Manual on Uniform Traffic Control Devices (MUTCD) requirements.

Sign Issues

For emergencies involving downed or missing “Stop” or “One Way” signs, please call 589-4700.

Street Pavement Markings

The Traffic Department maintains street pavement marking throughout the City yearly.  Pavement markings include:

  • Lane Lines
  • Stop Bars
  • Crosswalks
  • Bike Paths
  • Words and Symbols

New paving of City streets is completed by the Department of Public Works Street Department, contact them by calling 589-4750.
