Visitors and tourists swell Nashua’s driving population each day, often arriving in and traversing the downtown business area.   To ensure that patrons have parking options, the City of Nashua offers an extensive system of metered parking spaces, parking lots and parking garages.  To view the downtown area parking, click this link parking map.

Parking Information

• The City of Nashua has new electronic meters that will be more reliable and accept nickels, dimes, quarters (U.S. currency) as well as the new City of Nashua parking card
• The parking meters display decals that indicate meter rates, time limits and effective hours  (10hr. = purple, 2hr. = yellow, 1hr. = green)
• Parking meter rates for the City of Nashua are .50 cents per hour.  Patrons using the City of Nashua Parking Card in the High Street and Elm Street Municipal Parking Garages receive a discounted rate of .35/hr.  This rate is only good in these garages and if utilizing the City of Nashua Parking Card.
• The City of Nashua parking card can be purchased with U. S. currency at transaction stations located at the rear of City Hall and the City of Nashua Public Library
• All day downtown parking is available in the municipal parking garages and lots including: Elm Street Parking Garage, High Street Parking Garage, School Street Lot, High Street Lot, City Public Library Lot, LeParc Renaissance Francais Lot, and Maple Street Lot.  For a complete list click here for the City of Nashua parking map
• Vehicles displaying handicap license plates or permits may park for free at all metered and time zone parking spaces, but may be restricted to the posted time limits
• Vehicles may not park on City of Nashua streets for more than 2 hours in the same space between the hours of 12am and 6am.
