Mine Falls Park Advisory Committee

Welcome to the Mine Falls Park Advisory Committee website!

The goal of the Mine Falls Park Advisory Committee is to protect, preserve, and enhance the natural and recreational features of the popular and historic Mine Falls Park in Nashua, New Hampshire.

The Mine Falls Park Advisory Committee works in conjunction with the Nashua Parks and Recreation Department and serves an advisory role in the management of the park. Committee members, determined via an Aldermanic review process, are concerned community volunteers who seek to provide safe and interesting trails while maintaining, preserving and improving park facilities. Committee activities inlcude regular Trail Day workdays to restore damged areas and to create new trails.

Mine Falls Park is centrally located in Nashua between the Nashua River and the three-mile long power canal. It is an area which highlights the city's natural and historical heritage. The Park has seven access points to enjoy hiking, walking, snow shoeing, and cross-country skiing, and fishing. There are two boat launches within park boundaries.

The Committee hopes that this website will help you to learn more about Mine Falls Park, the Committee and our Trail Days and to become more passionate about preserving this precious Nashua resource.
