The Motor Vehicle Registration Department is a department within the Financial Services Division of the City of Nashua. Our office is located on the first floor of the City Hall Building located at 229 Main Street, Nashua, NH.
The City of Nashua is a Municipal Agent for the State of New Hampshire. This enables our department to complete most transactions in one location for the convenience of our residents.
Additionally, we strive to provide quality customer service and to educate our residents regarding the State of New Hampshire Motor Vehicle Laws.

The City has recently mailed the 2009 December property bills out. Most property owners will be receiving them by November 14, 2009. Anyone who has not received a bill is asked to contact the Tax Office (589-3190). We will promptly provide you with a duplicate copy.
To avoid a short wait in line, Taxpayers are encouraged to use the mail in service. A paid receipt will be returned in your self-addressed stamped envelope once the collection season has passed. A cancelled check or mortgage statement will also suffice as a receipt for federal tax purposes.
Payments to the City must be postmarked December 15, 2009 in order to avoid the accrual of 12% interest thereafter. The Real Estate Tax Rate for the calendar year 2009 was set at $19.82 per thousand.
