Dive Team

The Dive Team is a part of the Emergency Services division. A cooperative effort with the Nashua Police Department, the Nashua Fire Rescue Dive Team's primary role is rescue and work in a support capacity with the Police Department for recovery situations.  Members of the dive team are on duty on all shifts and the team is able to respond immediately to water emergencies.   Apparatus for the Dive Team respond out of Station 2.   Deputy Michael O'Brien and Captain Glen MacDonald head up the dive team.  The team maintains a minimum 28 members with varying levels of dive experience and in addition to diver certifications members hold ice rescue certifications.

Station 2 was built 1998.  The station houses Engine 2, Ladder 2, Special Ops 1, Special Ops 2, both Marine Units and the Safety Officer.  Station 2 is a specialized station requiring a majority of the personnel to be Haz Mat Technician Certified.  Station 2 also houses the Fire Marshal's office and Training and Safety Division.

   Marine 1 - 16' Zodiac Rubber inflatable boat, 35 hp
   Marine 2 - 14' Zodiac Rubber inflatiable boat, 25 hp
