Inspection and Code Enforcement |
The Nashua Fire Marshal's Office is responsible to review all plans and inspect all work to see that it conforms to several building and life safety codes. The City of Nashua's Building Department should be contacted in conjuction with the Fire Marshal's office for the applicable codes at the time of application.
The City of Nashua is currently utilizing the State Fire Code as the standard which references NFPA 101 Life Safety Code 2003 Edition, NFPA 1 Uniform Fire Code 2003 Edition, and NFPA 13 Sprinkler Code 2003 Edition. The Fire Marshal's Office is open Monday through Friday from 8:00am to 4:00pm. Individuals requesting inspections should give at least 24 hours notice to the division.
