Mission
The purpose of the Office of Economic Development (OED) is to foster the continued development of a diversified, sustainable and vibrant economy for the long-term benefit of the City’s residents and businesses.

Goals

•   Maintain strong communications between the business community and the City
•   Foster opportunities for job retention, existing business expansion, and continued tax
    base development
•   Promote employment diversity and the growth and expansion of the City's tax base 
    through new business recruitment
•   Encourage the continued enhancement and vitality of Downtown Nashua
