City of Nashua Blind Exemptions (RSA 72:37)
The City of Nashua has adopted an exemption for the blind. A resident of Nashua who is legally blind as determined by the State of New Hampshire Blind Services Department of Vocational Rehabilitation, Division of the Education Department shall be exempt each year of the assessed value, for property tax purposes, of his or her residential real estate to the value of $75,000.
Filing deadline is April 15, 2008

Applies only to primary residential property
Applicant must be determined legally blind by NH Services for the Blind and submit to the Assessors Office a certification letter from State of New Hampshire Blind Services Department of Vocational Rehabilitation.
Exemption: $75,000 reduction from the assessed value
Permanent Application must be filed with the Nashua Assessing Department.
Applications for this exemption are available at the Assessing Office at Nashua City Hall.
